Saturday
Nineties modsters still playing the same old tune
While the heady days of TFI Friday and mainstream success are long gone, mod torch bearers Ocean Colour Scene have done an admirable job in staying the course. For the rest of you, though, there isn’t much going on to grab your attention – the majority of the songs here are so familiar in flavour they’re unlikely to win any new fans. Best tune by far is the Showaddywaddy-esque boogie of ‘Saturday,’ which is the kind of thing you could imagine inspiring the hordes to hit the dancefloor at a wedding...
