Sam Smith is back with a new single out this Friday

The track will mark the Grammy award-winning singer's first release since his Bond theme 'Writing's On The Wall'.

Smith posted a photo to Instagram of himself holding up the black and white single cover.

The singer was spotted in Co. Donegal in March of this year, presumably to work on some of the new material we are about to hear.

Smith's debut studio album In the Lonely Hour was released in 2014, and went on to win four Grammy Awards including Record of the Year and Best New Artist.
