Sack announce Dublin show to celebrate 25 years of Adventura Majestica
The band will commemorate the 25th anniversary of their album with a vinyl re-issue.
Sack are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album Adventura Majestica.
The indie band will play the Button Factory on Friday, April 10th. Their remastered vinyl re-issue of Adventura Majestica will be released the same day.
A cult favorite, Sack brought pop rock to the Dublin underground. The five-piece formed as garage outfit Lord John White in the 1980s before becoming Sack in 1993. They followed up Adventura Majestica with Wake Up People! in 2024, after a two-decade hiatus.
The special edition re-issue will be pressed on transparent orange vinyl. With it comes 'Spaghettification', a never-before-released studio outtake.
The CD anniversary edition of Adventura Majestica will feature eight bonus demos and outtakes.
RTE 2FM host and longtime Sack fan Dan Hegarty will provide the album liner notes.
Kim Porcelli reviewed Adventura Majestica upon its release in 2001. Read her review here. And you can revisit Will Russell's 2025 interview with Sack here.
Tickets for Sack's April 10 Dublin gig will go on sale Friday, January 30.
