'RuPaul's Drag Race' Winner Aquaria Releases New Single
Fresh off her win from 'RuPaul's Drag Race' , performance artist Aquaria has released her debut single 'Burn Rubber'.
The 22 year old had been hinting at possible music during the competition. She teased her fans with snippets of the track and lyric video before releasing the full song over the weekend.
The album artwork shows Aquaria in a Janet Jackson 'Rhythm Nation' inspired outfit, complete with leather jacket and jewel encrusted soldier cap.
The song itself features a heavy dance beat with lyrics about driving fast and refusing to let anybody stand in her way. The track was co-written by Aquaria and Jesse Saint John.
Aquaria isn't the first 'Drag Race' winner to release music. Season 8 winner, Bob the Drag Queen, dominated the club scene with her track, 'Purse First' in 2016.
Aquaria has been taking to social media since her crowning to thank her fans for their support.
