Rory Faithfield returns with new album
Dublin-based singer songwriter Rory Faithfield comes back on the scene with his third album and live dates to boot!
Rory Faithfield is officially back in action on June 1 with Circle Dance.
The album, recorded in Dublin, takes on more of a solo feel after the band-friendly Blood Bones And Soul and Nowhere, Somewhere, Anywhere, which intended to reflect his live shows.
Kicking off the proceedings is the track 'Clonard', which, so it says here, "was a gift delivered fully formed in a dream where the Irish folk legend, Christy Moore, was witnessed entertaining a sing-along crowd in a backstreet pub".
Those intrigued will be able to catch him at Eistmusic, Portlaoise (25 May); Cherry Tree, Dublin (4 June); Ruby Sessions, Dublin (17 July).
