Ron Sexsmith announces Whelans gig
The Canadian singer songwriter will return to play in Dublin for a headline show.
Ron Sexsmith will play in Whelans on November 6 of this year in an ‘Evening with Ron Sexsmith’.
The acclaimed singer songwriter’s most recent album which he released just last year, The Vivian Line received international acclaim as well as securing a Hot Press scoring of 8/10 saying, “If Canadian songsmith Ron Sexsmith has failed to captivate you with his 16 previous outings, this could be the one. From start to finish, he exudes a relaxed romantic confidence, like a man truly on top of his game”.
Renowned for his earnest lyrical storytelling and pop classicism, the Canadian musician has been compared to that of Elvis Costello and Paul McCartney.
This will be Sexsmith’s second live show at Whelans when he played in 2015.
Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10am and are available here priced at €25.
