Róisín O and Aoife Scott to perform Amhrán na bhFiann at Katie Taylor's Croke Park Fight
Following the announcement that WestLife will be performing, two more Irish acts have been announced for the boxer's farewell fight.
Róisín O and Aoife Scott are set to perform Amhrán na bhFiann at Katie Taylor's farewell fight in Croke Park on Saturday, September 5.
The pair will be performing the national anthem to a sold-out Croke Park, before the London 2012 Olympic gold medallist takes on France's Flora Pili in a bid to become a three-time undisputed champion.
Westlife were announced yesterday as the headline performers for the match, which will be broadcast on RTÉ2, RTÉ Player and RTÉ 2FM on Saturday. Jacqui Hurley is covering the fight from 8 pm.
The last time a professional boxing event took place in Croke Park was in July 1972 when Muhammad Ali took on Detroit boxer Al Lewis.

Róisín O's latest single 'Magic' was released in March 2026. She headlined shows in Whelan's and Connolly's of Leap in May. She also performed at Bulmers Live at Leopardstown in June.
After a number of perfromances at the Belfast Fleadh in August, Aoife Scott will be performing at the Dublin Trad Fest in St. Patrick's Cathedral, on January 20, 2027.
Tickets for the concert can be found here.
