RIP Tom Searle - guitarist for British band Architects
The 28 year old tragically lost his battle against cancer
The young guitarist set up the band with his twin brother Dan, when they were 16 and they went on to release seven albums, the most recent being All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us which was released this year.
The guitarist had been quietly battling cancer for three years which led to him missing a lot of concerts. Despite his illness, in June, he signed himself out of hospital to join the band on a European tour. In a touching note on facebook, Dan shared the sad news and said farewell to his brother. He described Tom as a fighter till the end and as "an incredible songwriter and guitarist."
