Right Thru Me
She’s spent 2010 making a lot of really terrible albums bearable (I'm looking at you Christina, Usher and Ludacris), as well as contributing her floor-skimming rap to pretty decent tunes by Drake and Lil Wayne, so it's high time that pint-sized mad scientist Nicki Minaj stepped up to the mic all on her lonesome. Twisted ballad 'Right Thru Me' doesn’t quite live up to the quirk of previous efforts (or indeed her image as a hip hop Lady Gaga), but don't go writing off this Cash Money honey just yet - Rihanna, Kanye, Eminem, will.i.am and Natasha Beddingfield (huh?) all play featured roles on upcoming debut album Pink Friday, so regardless of whether she retains her delightfully filthy edge, this wig-loving firecracker's gonna sell a truckload of records.
