"Big ups everyone who voted for me," Kennedy wrote in an Instagram story post. "I was not expecting this!"
"Thank you to all the artists and their teams for trusting me with their productions in 2025!!!"
Other nominees for the award are Jonathan Gilmore (The 1975, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Oli Barton-Wood (Nilüfer Yanya, Ezra Collective).
The MPG Awards will be held in London at the Troxy on Thursday, April 16.
Formed in 1985, the Music Producers Guild is made up of producers, recording engineers, and mixers residing in the UK. Members of the Guild create the shortlist for the awards and vote on the winners.
