Regeneration!
Since the disbanding of the Divine Comedy, Neil Hannon's a new man: new US tour, new material, new live release and (belated report) new baby...
Neil Hannon gets straight back in the saddle when he journeys to America for acoustic shows in Joe's Pub, New York (February 12th); Schuba's Tavern, Chicago (15th); Slim's, San Francisco (18th); and Largo, Los Angeles (19th).
Musical accompaniment is provided by former Divine Comedy bandmates Ivor Talbot and Rob Farrer, who are understood to be working with him on new material.
There's also confirmation of The Divine Comedy's swansong release – a fan club-only single featuring 'Geronimo' and 'The Power Of Love' that was recorded in November at Dublin's Ambassador Theatre.

Finally, belated congratulations to Neil and wife Orla on the birth of their first nipper, Willow Mary Erin Hannon, shortly before Christmas.
