Refugee crisis prompts Irish artists to rally support
Villagers and Lisa Hannigan among those to suggest ways in which people can help
Though the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean - and elsewhere in Europe - has been escalating for some time, the heartbreaking images appearing in the media in the past 24 hours, of children's bodies washed ashore, have truly underlined the critical nature of the humanitarian emergency unfolding.
Villagers (pictured), Hozier and Lisa Hannigan are among the Irish artists to suggest agencies to contact, and ways in which people can do their bit to help.
