Red Bull Music Academy Radio - Robot Koch
Robot Koch, live from Punchestown at Oxegen 2010
Robert 'Robot' Koch graduated from the very first Red Bull Music Academy, which took place in his hometown of Berlin in 1999. A fleeting glance at the veteran producer's work will tell you that Robert, who is also involved in the ragga-electronica trio Jahcoozi and the Robots Don't Sleep label (which he describes as "Motown with lasers"), is obsessed with science fiction and heavy bass, two factors which heavily coloured his debut album Death Star Droid, released in November 2009.
