Real Thing
It's true that Ireland isn't exactly crying out for singer-songwriters, but there's a honky tonk quality to Cornwall lad Jamie Lawson's voice that, at the very least, makes him slightly more memorable than the rest. 'Real Thing' makes good use of Lawson's countrified vocals, as well as a hint of moody violin, to tug hard at the old heart strings. It works, but just about.
