New York's legendary Television, whom The Strokes may have heard of, come to Vicar Street next month
You can discover where The Strokes nicked their look, attitude and a good few of their riffs from on June 16th when Television play Dublin's Vicar St.
The band appear to be in the rudest of health with Entertainment Weekly describing their recent Irving Plaza show as, "a must-see, not only for followers of New York music history but for anyone fascinated by the ascendance of the electric guitar in rock.
"Once again," the reviewer continued, "Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd proved themselves among the most creative players ever to coil their fingers around an axe's six strings."
