RAYE announces new album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE
You can pre-order the album below.
RAYE has announced the release of her sophomore album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, set to drop on March 27 via Human Re Sources.
"Music is medicine, I've always said that," said RAYE. "I guess I'm in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world.
"I want us all to say to ourselves that it's going to be all right, and I'm going to have faith in the seeds that I've planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it."
The announcement comes as RAYE launches the European leg of her THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC, which includes two shows at the 3Arena, Dublin.
The Dublin shows are on March 4 and 5, and tickets are available here.
From August through October, the singer will join Bruno Mars as a special guest on his The Romantic Tour.
In 2024, a year after the drop of her debut album My 21st Century Blues, the singer made history by winning six categories at the Brit Awards, breaking the record for the artist who received the most awards in a single ceremony.
The record had been previously jointly held by Blur (1995), Adele (2016) and Harry Styles (2023), who had all received 4 awards.
At the same ceremony, RAYE became the first woman to ever win Songwriter of the Year.
The album is available for pre-order here.
