Rancid 'Collision Course' - Track Review
In the ’90s, SoCal punks Rancid were hot property and their hook-laden anthems prompted a bidding war from scores of major labels (Madonna even famously mailed them naked photos in order to snare their signature for Matador Records). However, the band, to their credit, opted to stick to their roots and remain independent. Rancid’s first single in five years sees the four-piece in vintage form. Loud, lairy, bursting with more energy than a classroom of Lucozade-swigging kids, the track is a call to arms for outsiders everywhere.
