Radiohead beat Beyonce to top spot
Rock heroes enter at the summit
Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool has leapt straight to the top of the Irish album charts.
While the absence of a hyphen might have irked our subs, the record – unveiled last Sunday – has raced to the summit at the first time of asking, taking over from Nathan Carter. He sits at No. 3 this week, the unlikely filling of a Beyonce/Drake sandwich.
Walking On Cars claim fifth spot – the fifteenth week in the top five – while Adele, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran also hang onto spots in the top ten.
In a big week for new entries, Gregory Porter nabs No. 11, Skepta's Konnichiwa lands at No. 13 and the outstanding new effort from James Blake, The Colour in Anything, enters at No. 16.
