Radio Blackout
T. Raumschmiere’s debut album gives electronic music the wake up call it patently needs.
Over the course of 43 minutes, the German producer manages to cover styles as diverse as electro, soundtracks, down tempo, minimal house and politicised hip-hop, but each direction comes coated in his grungy, feedback driven wall of noise.
He occasionally forgets formats or structures and lets loose with deranged walls of visceral electronic feedback – ‘Raubaukendisko’ and ‘Musick Boy’ – but is also capable of primal pop like ‘The Game Is Not Over’.

In fact no matter what style he turns to, this man is a star.
