QOTSA, At the Drive-In & Mastodon Form Supergroup Gone Is Gone
The mish-mash metal group share a teaser of music
Another day, another supergroup. Hey, we're definitely not complaining. The latest collaboration of stars, named Gone Is Gone, features musicians from Queens Of The Stone Age, Mastodon and At The Drive-In.
The band consists of Mastodon singer Troy Sanders, QOTSA guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, At the Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar, and multi-instrumentalist Mike Zarin.

They've released a snippet of a song, entitled 'Violescent' (listen below). A Gone Is Gone EP is reportedly expected to drop this summer, as well as a 13-track album, slated for release later in the year.
