Professor Green 'Lullaby feat Tori Kelly)' Track Review

One of the things I liked best about English MC Professor Green was his ability to make uptempo, uplifting, slightly edgy pop music without relying on genre cliches. Sadly new single ‘Lullaby’ fails to equal the likes of ‘Remedy’; it’s a plodding, overly sweet ballad that suggests he’s lost his way a little (or he’s listening to too many Yes Men). Cut from the same mould as Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie,’ the mawkish tone and unoriginal harmonies make this a tune to forget.
