Problem
Belfast-born, Edinburgh-based rapper and producer Jee4ce sounds just a little peeved off on ‘Problem’, the first single to be taken from his forthcoming EP My Friend Jack, but rather than coming off as a mix between ‘Lose Yourself’-era Eminem and the badass bitch that was Queen Elizabeth I in Elizabeth: The Golden Age, his rhymes are clever enough to bear the weight of his raged-up delivery. ‘You’re trying to name your album? Well, maybe you should call it quits...’ he snarls, before dropping an infinitely chantable chorus of ‘Get to fuck, you stuck-up music snob’. For this reason, ‘Problem’ is both clever and useful. Next time you feel like tearing your pillow apart in fury, stick this firework-launching number on instead.
