PREMIERE: Scustin share debut single 'The Killer'

Smooth funk and pub hijinks collide on 'The Killer' – the brilliant new single from Scustin, which Hot Press is proud to premiere below.

The release follows the Bray band's acclaimed rooftop performance for the Lotus Sessions earlier this year, which featured 'The Killer' alongside other original tracks 'Tinder Tune', 'Drinking Cans In A Field With Matt Damon' and 'Candyman'.

Just as the performance offered a dazzling insight into the eccentric world of Scustin, their first official release further establishes the band as a captivating new force in Irish music.

'The Killer' finds Larry and the lads showcasing their energetic, genre-blurring blend of  wild humour, immersive storytelling and seriously impressive musical chops, while chronicling the "confessions of a pub talker." It's a hugely promising taste of what to expect from the band – and we can't wait to soak it up live.
