PREMIERE: Omonoko share video for 'Weight In Gold'

Four-piece Northern Irish outfit Omonoko take tried and tested contemporary rock and play around with public expectation of the genre. The band have returned today with the video for their single 'Weight In Gold'.

The song incorporates an addictive bass line, simple but effective electronic sounds, and falsetto vocals. Lyrically, the song focuses on an individual's need to have a break from the outside world, to reestablish a connection with themselves, and to focus on what their next move in life will be.

It’s natural for a band to wonder where they fit in, and thus limit themselves to play by a certain set of rules. But Omonoko is a band that has learned to mix the colours. They delight in doing things their own way and it results in a wonderfully contagious atmosphere.
