PREMIERE: ANDI shares powerful new video for 'Housewife'
Get an exclusive first look at the new music video from the acclaimed Dublin singer-songwriter below.
Following the release of her poignant new single, 'Housewife', earlier this month, ANDI is back with the highly anticipated music video for the track – premiering below.
'Housewife' is the first single from the Dublin artist's upcoming EP, Cedar Ward.
"'Housewife' is a song laden with drama," ANDI's Amy Kelly says of the track. "The song focuses on a feeling of despair and a desperate need to escape the mundane boredom of every routine. It touches on mental health, societal expectations of women, and generally feeling low."
Amy initially established herself as a serious presence on the Irish scene fronting Dublin act The Stoney Brokes, and providing backing vocals for the likes of The Hot Sprockets, This Other Kingdom and Vernon Jane.
ANDI is her latest project – marking her as one of the most thrilling emerging talents in Irish music, and showcasing her abilities as both a performer and a songwriter.
