PPI Radio Awards Shortlist just announced
The ceremony takes place in Lyrath Estate House Hotel, Kilkenny, on October 4 .
It's that time of the year again – the shortlists for the PPI Radio Awards have just been announced.
There are five categories involved: Music Programming, News and Sports Programming, Speech Programming, General and People Awards.
Today FM is well-represented over the five categories – Chat & Tunes With Christy Moore gets a Special Programme nod – whilst Newstalk's Off the Ball is nominated for Sports Programme despite disruptions earlier this year when the original team parted company with the station in March.
Elsewhere, Sean O'Rourke – who will now fill Pat Kenny's Radio 1 shoes – is up for News Broadcaster of the Year.
