PPI Radio Awards Shortlist announced

It's that time of the year again – the shortlists for the PPI Radio Awards have just been announced.

As well as the usual Music Programming categories, there is a new Interactive Speech Programme category this year, honouring programmes with active audience participation.

A 'Hall Of Fame' has also been established, recognising the outstanding contributions of individuals to Irish radio. Members will be admitted annually at the ceremony.

The ceremony takes place at Lyrath House Estate Hotel, Kilkenny, on Friday October 12.
