Pierce Turner tours Ireland this summer

Pierce Turner's previous nationwide tour and NCH date went down such a treat in last summer that he's decided to do it all again. The award-winning Wexford songsmith, who earned impressive props in the Village Voice's famous Pazz And Jop year-end poll for 2014, plays the John Field Room in the NCH on May 12.
Other Irish dates (thus far) are:
May 2 – The Seamus Ennis Centre, Naul
May 8 – Coughlans, Cork
June 5 – The Wexford Arts Centre
Turner is currently hard at work on his next album, set to be recorded in a Manhattan church and funded with a Pledge campaign. Swedish composer Hans Engstrom is producing.
