Phoebe Bridgers, Kathleen Hanna, Hilary Clinton and more to take part in RBG tribute
Performers and speakers from all over America will rally against the attempt to fill RBG’s Supreme Court seat before the election.
Phoebe Bridgers, Kathleen Hanna, Michael Stipe, Margo Price, Kesha, Hayley Williams, and more are set to perform and speak in a virtual celebration of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died last month at 87.
"Honor Her Wish" will take place Monday, October 10 at 8 pm Eastern (1am BST), and is also set to feature appearances from Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Stacey Abrams, Elizabeth Warren, Gloria Steinem, and many more. The event will pay tribute to Bader Ginsburg and takes place the first day of planned confirmation hearings for Donald Trump’s pick to replace RBG.
The title of the virtual protest refers to RBG's final wish, that her seat remain empty until after the upcoming US election.
