Phelim Drew to host concert in aid of RNLI and IUSRU this weekend
Tickets for the fundraising concert are on sale now.
Phelim Drew and his musical guests are heading to St. Patrick's Church in Ringsend this Sunday, October 6, to honour the work of the Royal National Lifeboat Association (RNLI) and the Irish Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (IUSRU) with a special All In A Row charity concert.
These two essential life-saving organisations depend solely on donations in order to operate. The RNLI operates a 24-hour search and rescue service from lifeboat stations around the country, while the IUSRU provides search and recovery divers for underwater operations involving missing people. Phelim Drew's evening of music and song will see all proceeds going to the RNLI and IUSRU.
Kicking off the evening at 7.30pm, Phelim will perform a selection of music from The Dubliners and his father, Ronnie Drew, as well as personal favourites from the likes of The Pogues and Paul Brady.
Tickets for the event are €10, and are sale now from Eventbrite.
Watch Phelim perform The Dubliners' classic, 'Three Lovely Lassies From Kimmage', below:
