Peacefrog Presents: 10.100.02
Listening to the label's second compilation of the last twelve months, it's clear that they don’t like to be pigeonholed
Most consistent dance labels successfully represent one style of music during their existence, but central to UK label Peacefrog’s development is a need to support as many threads as possible. Indeed, listening to the label’s second compilation of the last twelve months, it’s clear that they don’t like to be pigeonholed.
From John Beltran’s deep ambience through to Anthony Shakir’s rough funk and Maxwell House’s abstract acoustic clatter, this also features house and techno of the deep, soulful persuasion. A veritable who’s who of US and UK producers – Luke Slater, Theo Parrish, Ron Trent and St. Vitus Dance all make appearances – this is a trip through some of dance music’s most seductive sounds.
