Pavement announce physical edition of the PAVEMENTS (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) and best-of compilation
The new physical LP will come out on November 14, while the compilation Hecklers Choice is out today.
Pavement have announced two releases today, including the physical release of PAVEMENTS (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), due out November 14, as well as their compilation album Hecklers Choice, out digitally now.
PAVEMENTS (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is taken from the 2024 experimental music biopic concert film PAVEMENTS, which incorporates scripted scenes, documentary footage of the band, a musical stage play, and a museum devoted to Pavement’s history.
Compiled by PAVEMENTS producer and editor Robert Greene and the band, the soundtrack ropes together disparate elements of the film including dialogue snippets, scenes from Range Life, and cast recordings from the Slanted! Enchanted! jukebox musical, as well as live and rehearsal recordings from the group’s 2021 reunion tour.

Hecklers Choice, marks Pavement’s second-ever “best of” compilation since their 2010 Quarantine the Past.
Among the most beloved acts to come out of the American underground in the 90’s, Pavement released five era-defining albums - Slanted And Enchanted (1992), Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994), Wowee Zowee (1995), Brighten The Corners (1997) and Terror Twilight (1999) - before disbanding in 1999.
Since reuniting in 2022, they have headlined Primavera Sound and perform sold-out multi-night runs in Los Angeles, New York, and London.
