The latest in the Sailor Jerry line comes courtesy of the Clash man...
Having made the move from music to fashion, iconic Clash bassist Paul Simonon has launched "the ultimate rock 'n' roll collaboration" - The Flash Collection for Sailor Jerry Clothing.
Designed by Simonon, the new range comprises three limited edition items - a leather jacket made with heritage brand Lewis Leathers (as sported by Paul above and limited to 50), t-shirts (only 500 available) and a neckerchief. The back of the jacket features Paul’s interpretation of Norman Collins’ flash art from the 1950s - a skull and crossbone, and a banner reading 'Jack to a King'. To give it that true rock ‘n’ roll feel, Paul has had every jacket hand distressed.
"This is my first design collaboration and what’s been really interesting is interpreting Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins’ art and making my own version, adapting the jacket and customising it." said Simonon.

The union of Sailor Jerry and Simonon is no coincidence. Already a fan, the bassist had Sailor Jerry on his Gorillaz tour rider and sports an anchor tattoo on his arm. Check the collection out at [link]sailorjerryclothing.com[/link]
