Paul Heaton announces Irish tour dates
The former front man of The Beautiful South and The Housemartins returns to Ireland to promote his second album Acid Country.
Having just headlined the Leftfield stage at Glastonbury, a round of Irish dates this October will see Paul build on the success of 2008's widely acclaimed The Cross Eyed Rambler. Acid Country is due for a September release and is Paul's 15th studio album - his second as a solo artist.
The October dates on his Irish tour are as follows:
Saturday 2: Kilkenny, Set Theatre
Sunday 3: Castlebar, Ruby Rooms
Tuesday 5: Cork, Cyprus Ave
Wednesday 6: Dublin, The Academy
Thursday 7: Belfast, Auntie Annies
Friday 8: Wexford, Wexford Arts Centre
Tickets for the Academy show are priced at €24.00, and all tickets go on sale this Friday July 2 at 9am from usual outlets.
