Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott plot Irish jaunt

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott - the much-beloved vocal duo of The Beautiful South - have announced a series of Irish gigs for next year.
The duo have just unveiled Wisdom, Laughter and Lines, their second LP since the glory days of the 1990s and early 2000s. It follows What Have We Become, which was equally successful among both critics and consumers.
Beginning on April 7 at Wexford Opera House, their Irish run also includes stops at Limerick's Big Top (8), Cork Opera House (9), Dublin's Olympia Theatre (10), Ulster Hall in Belfast (12) and a final date at Derry's Millennium Forum (13).
Tickets for all six dates are on sale this Friday from 9am.
