Paul Casey releases new single: ‘We Will Sing’
Derry songwriter Paul Casey recorded ‘We Will Sing’ just before Ireland went into lockdown.
As a nation, Ireland is coming together in a way in which no-one could ever have imagined would be necessary.
Escaping to the studio, Paul Casey recorded his new track right before Ireland went into lockdown.
The new song is about life and death, being alone and coming together, and holding onto loved ones with everything we’ve got.
On the track are stalwarts Liam Bradley on drums, Nicky Scott on bass and John McCullough on piano, while the backing vocals are new vocal talent Lauren Doherty. Paul himself is on guitar and vocals.
Be sure to also check out our Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, where our star-studded line-up takes over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streams performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
The We Will Sing video was shot by Paul at his home and on deserted beach, watch it below. #BuyIrishMusic
