The Pale celebrate 30th anniversary with Irish tour
The Irish band forged their success off the beaten path
The Pale are commemorating 30 years in the music industry with an Irish tour.
The music luminaries will return to some of Ireland’s legendary venues as part of their tour, including a May 8 performance at Whelan’s.
The Pale will also have their first UK tour in many years in 2020. They plan to announce some other surprises during this year of celebration.
The Pale first formed in Dublin in 1990, busking on Grafton Street alongside fellow Irish musicians like Kila and Mic Christopher.
Throughout their career, the band have released 13 albums and performed numerous tours across the world, including shows in Russia, Japan and Eastern Europe. Some remember the band best for their hits 'Butterfly' and 'Dogs With No Tails’, but they’ve forged their path over the past three decades.
Tour dates:
Portlaoise, Kavanagh's - April 17
Dublin, Whelan's - May 8
Mullingar, The Stables - May 9
Dundalk, Spirit Store - May 15
Cork, Kino - May 16
Listowel, Mike the Pie's - June 12
