Offset 2010 coming to the Grand Canal Theatre in October
Tickets are now on sale for the three-day design event which features speakers from all areas of visual arts including graphic design, photography and illustration.
Taking place from October 1 to October 3, the event will take place in the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin, and with an impressive line-up it promises to be a must-see for any budding music designers.
Speakers include:
- Music designer Mark Farrow, who has worked with the Pet Shop Boys, Kylie, Manic Street Preachers and was referred to as "the most important graphic designer working today" by Creative Review magazine;
- Graphic designer David Carson, whose work on Ray Gun and Surfer magazine influenced an entire generation of designers;
- Advertising mogul George Lois, who was the art director of Esquire magazine for ten years, and whose cover designs are still iconic today; and
- Animator David O'Reilly, who has not only directed videos for U2 and provided stage visuals for M.I.A and had work shown at the Sundance Festival, but whose short film Octocat became a Youtube sensation.
