O2 Party in the Park: Off the agenda for 2006
Hot Press can exclusively reveal that O2's annual "Party in the Park" seems to have been pushed aside for 2006.
The annual bash, which has taken place each summer in Phoenix Park for the last number of years, has seen some of pop's leading stars including the likes of Girls Aloud, Westlife and Charlotte Church perform before a "O2 ticketed only" audience.
O2 have considerably upped their music profile recently, the launch of the "iMode" platform saw Hot Press integrated into mobile phone handsets and rumours abound that they have some large plans afoot for the rest of the year.
