Nothing Comes To Nothing
As fans of Babyshambles will know, Pete Doherty‘s lethargic London drawl is possessed of the ability to whisk us right back to the early noughties without even trying, a skill he puts to terrific use on comeback single ?Nothing Comes To Nothing‘, a poetic, bouncy piece of vintage Doherty that has YouTube users obsessing over lyrics (?I heard it said/You had come back from the dead/You were playing so fine/Scooping up the soul of the wine‘), rather than rehab rumours, a very good sign indeed.
