Night Mode
Former B*Witched duo get a little dirty for their debut
Back with a new image and a new sound, ex-B*Witched twins Keavy and Edele Lynch return to the fray with the sleek and shiny Night Mode. It’s a record that’s unashamedly aimed straight at fans of Britney and Nicole Scherzinger. Making their days as the squeaky-clean double denim aficionados, responsible for four No.1s on the trot starting with the unbelievably catchy ‘C’est La Vie’, seem like a million years ago, the album is an ultra-polished effort that isn’t afraid to get a little saucy. The title track and the hook-laden ‘The Idea’ are the pick of the bunch and while at times the electro-pop can be a little plastic (‘Faith In Me’) on the whole Barbarellas have successfully managed to banish the ghosts of their past with some degree of style and substance.
