New supergroup to play in Belfast
Relish brothers Ken and Carl Papenfus have joined forces with the jazz funk supergroup, Players, that also features former Style Council-or Mick Talbot, Paul Weller’s drummer Steve White and ex-Ocean Colour Scene man Damon Minchella.
Their debut album, From The Six Corners, is out now and includes their forthcoming double A-side single, ‘No Big Deal’/’Find Your Way’.
You can catch them live on June 24 when they line up alongside Starsailor in Belfast’s Custom House Square. The gig is part of the CinemagicMusic festival ’06, which takes place from June 22 to 24 and also features talk and workshops involving Owen Morris, Andy Cairns, Eric Bell, Kevin Godley, Journey South, Alan McGee, Eddie Piller and Paul McNamee.
