New Michael Jackson album details announced

Due for worldwide release on May 13, XSCAPE is a posthumous album featuring Michael Jackson material that has been reworked by producers such as Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins and Jerome 'Jroc' Harmon.

Epic Records chairman LA Reid is executive producer, and he was apparently granted full access to four decades of the late King Of Pop's vocals. The songs were then contemporised by the team of producers, with eight of them being previously unreleased.

A deluxe edition will feature original recordings, while both versions are available to pre-order on iTunes from Tuesday April 1.
