In recognition of the hugely influential reggae artist's 70th birthday, a series of archival releases are planned throughout the year, starting with a 1978 Boston show.
It's been awhile since we've had new material from Bob Marley & The Wailers, but the artist's 70th birthday warrants recognition and it's coming in the form of a series of rare, commemorative releases from the Marley vaults, starting with Easy Skanking in Boston '78.
Easy Skanking encompasses two performances at Boston's Music Hall on June 8, 1978, which were also recorded on video. The shows will be available on CD as well as Blu-Ray/CD and DVD/CD combo packs.
The Marley family will be releasing completely unknown and unheard material from their private collections throughout the year, so expect more announcements like this as time goes on.
