New David Bowie album out January

He might have retired from performing live but David Bowie is thankfully as busy as he's ever been in the studio.
Since glorious 2013 comeback The Next Day, there have been singles and soundtrack work, with rumours constantly swirling of a follow-up LP being in the works and recent confirmation.
This morning, the details.
Bowie's 25th album will be entitled Blackstar (as previously reported) and arrives on January 8 to mark the Thin White Duke's 69th birthday. The accompanying promo shots above were taken by Jimmy King.
Not only that, the title track and first single will debut tonight on Sky Atlantic, featuring on the soundtrack to new drama The Last Panthers. See it at 8.45pm.
