N.A.S.A. make their Irish debut
Dublin and Cork can look forward to the full Brazilian.
Hip hop collective du jour N.A.S.A. make their Irish bow in July with dates in The Pavilion, Cork (8) and Crawdaddy, Dublin (9).
Tickets for the latter go on sale on Friday March 6 priced €15.
Given the size of the two venues (tiny), it’s highly unlikely that DJ Ze Gonzales and Squeak E. Clean (possibly not their real names) will be joined by all the guests on their debut The Spirit Of Apollo album – Tom Waits, Lykke Li, George Clinton, Lovefoxxx, Sizzla, M.I.A., John Frusciante, Del Tha Funkee Homosapian, DJ Qbert, Cool Kids and Spank Rock being but 11 of the posse.
N.A.S.A. – it stands for North America/South America – are also planning a film version of their epic journey into the heart of Brazilian funk.
