My Bloody Valentine to record new EP this autumn
Kevin Shields has told the NME that he wants to head into the studio in October or November.
We had to wait 22 long years for 2013's m b v to arrive but – fingers crossed – it seems we will get further new My Bloody Valentine material a lot sooner.
Kevin Shields has confirmed that he is currently working on new songs and is planning to record an EP's worth later this year.
Speaking to the NME, the Irish musician said: "We plan on going into the studio October/November time."
It follows on from his comments last year that an EP was in the works, with Shields aiming to then re-master Isn't Anything and Loveless in analog. It is likely that he will once again bypass labels and release the work via the official My Bloody Valentine website.
