Music On The Telly This Christmas
Kylie, Ed Sheeran and Cilla Black just some of the music on the box this Christmas
Nothing gets the festive mood properly crackling than reruns of Top Of The Pops Christmas Specials. When however another rendition of 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' by a for ever twenty-nine year old Noddy Holder gets too much there's plenty of other Christmas telly to keep the mood going.
Tonight sees Kylie Minogue on Sky Arts at 9PM performing at The Royal Albert Hall while tomorrow you can catch Grammy nominated Lianne Le Havas making her debut appearance on this Fridays episode of TFI Friday on Channel 4.
Hot Press favourite's ginger haired crooner Ed Sheeran will be performing on Sky Arts at 19.50 on Sunday in 'Ed Sheeran - Jumpers For Goalposts'.
UTV Ireland will be holding a Cilla Black special on Christmas Day at 22.45 featuring Paul O'Grady and none other than Ringo Starr. Also on Christmas Day, BBC will be hosting the annual Top Of The Pops Christmas special. Expect the best of 2015 being presented by Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates and there may even be a surprise appearance by Coldplay.
Did someone say 'HOOTENANNY' as Jools Holland rings in the new year with his annual festive show on BBC2 this New Year's Eve from 23.10.
