Mother After Dark will feature the club's resident DJs alongside a run of special guests and performers.
Mother, a LGBTQ+ club night in Dublin, is bringing its Queer dance party in the woods back to Electric Picnic.
Running from 11 pm to 4 am each night of the festival, Mother After Dark will feature the club’s resident DJs alongside a run of special guests, including drag performers and dancers.
The lineup will see DJs Rocky T. Delgado, Ruth Kavanagh and Ghostboy, joined by special guests Kelly-Anne Byrne, Glamo and Shrem. Among the performers will be Abrakedavre, Annie Queeries, Anziety, Blaq Coffee, Blue Flame and others.
Mother was founded in June 2010 as an old school club night for Dublin’s LGBTQ+ community. Its DJs have played at Electric Picnic for over a decade and the festival began formally hosting Mother After Dark in 2022.
The club puts on a number of music and performance events celebrating the queer community, including their annual Pride Block Party.
Electric Picnic runs from August 28 to August 30 at Stradbally, Co. Laois and will see sets from Gorillaz, Fontaines D.C., CMAT, Wolf Alice, Zara Larsson and more.
