Moscow City Ballet visits Dublin

The Moscow City Ballet, one of Russia’s most successful international touring ballet companies, has been confirmed for a four day stint in The Helix, Dublin, in the last week of November.

Moscow City Ballet will perform a traditional Russian version of Cinderella and what has been described as a "magical" version of the perennial Christmas favourite, The Nutcracker.

This is the 20th season of the Moscow City Ballet and its anniversary tour opens at The Helix, before carrying on through the UK. MCB was the first Russian company with full productions to tour Ireland and the UK.

The Nutcracker, with music by Tchaikovsky, take place in the Mahony Hall on Wednesday Nov 26, at 2pm and 7.30pm and Thurs Nov 27, at 7.30pm. Cinderella is scheduled for Friday Nov 28 at 7.30pm and Sat Nov 29, at 2pm and 7.30pm.
